Beware of the Comfort Zone
A Comfort Zone is not always a comforting place to be if we are living in it outside of God’s will – sometimes we need just to trust God and leave our place of comfort.
Helper or Dominator?
II Corinthians 1:23-24 “Moreover I call God for a record upon my soul, that to spare you I came not as yet unto Corinth. Not for that we have dominion over your faith, but are helpers of your joy: for by faith ye stand.” As I was reading my Bible this morning, these...
THE IRRATIONAL CALL: “Count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations”
This Epistle is likely the first book of the New Testament written: and what does the Holy Spirit lead James to pen as some of the first Words of the New Testament? – “count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations” – The first thing the Holy Spirit wanted to...

New Beginnings in Christ
II Corinthians 5:17-18 “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of...

Doth Deliver

Getting to “Know” You
The communication between two people makes “KNOW”ing them meaningful. When you start a relationship with someone, you usually want to get to “KNOW” that person. “KNOW”ing someone takes time, takes EFFORT!! Just because someone tells you information about someone does not mean you “KNOW” him, you “KNOW” about him. To get to “KNOW” that person will take time and effort on your part.
God is Our Refuge
As Christians, we serve an incredible God. A God that will be a comforting refuge to us when we need it, a God that will give us strength when we are weak, a God that will help us through trouble, and a God that will be with us and not forsake us in the midst of that trouble. “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” Such an incredibly encouraging verse, it would be good for all of us to dwell on these comforting promises.
