Pastor Keith and Melissa moved to Palm Coast with the purpose of helping people know and follow Jesus Christ, to know the love, acceptance and comfort that comes in a close relationship with Christ. Pastor Keith knows what it is like to grieve someone that is close to him, he experienced a great loss at the young age of 15. Pastor Keith and Melissa want to help and minister to those that are recently grieved or going through this battle in their life. Please join us at our C.A.L.M. Our church has a heart for helping those that are hurting. Our church also has a Passion for God’s Word and Compassion for His people. Our vision for our church can be summed up succinctly in two words – New Beginnings. We believe the God of the second chance has a plan and a purpose for everyone (Jonah 3:1 – And the word of the LORD came unto Jonah the second time…). C.A.L.M. Greif Community Care Group is a ministry of New Beginning Baptist Church of Palm Coast, FL. And I’d like to welcome you and thank you for your interest in CALM Grief Care group. CALM stands for a Caring After Loss Ministry.
Thank you for your bravery and willingness to look into seeking help for your grief and answers to your questions in our Bible based program. The goal and intention of this ministry is to enable you to make informed decisions concerning your particular and individual grief circumstances. By presenting you with life changing truths from the Bible about God’s plan and provision for your life, and especially where grief and loss are concerned.
Our hope is nothing other than to be a help and blessing to you by providing you with a sure way to overcome the complications and problems that death and grief have brought into your life.
In weekly meetings and through the written materials, you will be challenged and encouraged as you begin your journey of healing from grief. And as you heal from this pain, you can then in turn start helping others on their journey of healing from their pain.
We want to encourage you to begin this journey with the decision and commitment not to take offence or automatically dismiss the things you will hear and see. But rather to keep an open and teachable spirit and heart. Even if you are convinced there is little to no hope in your situation, by keeping a willing and teachable spirit, the doors of life and light will begin to swing open in due time.
“The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.” (Psalm 34:18)
Grief is a spiritual issue.
And grief must be addressed spiritually and overcome spiritually. Unbiblical grief is a life stealer that has a quiet stranglehold on the population of the world in every culture. It works quietly, destroying hope and life without many of the telltale signs that other life debilitating evils like addiction, and prejudices can have.

God has called New Beginning Baptist Church of Palm Coast, FL to be a welcoming and loving church with a Passion for God’s Word and Compassion for His people. Part of what God has called us to do is to reach out into our community and minister specifically to those that are hurting, to those that our discouraged, to those that need to feel the love of God in their life.

First and foremost, we want people to have a new beginning with Christ – The answer to all of life’s issues, difficulties and needs is ultimately met in a vibrant, healthy and authentic relationship with Jesus Christ.
